(Chairman), Founder, WRD Capital
Robert is currently a private investor, focusing on the healthcare industry. Previously, he was the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Arrowhawk Capital Partners, an investment company and the Vice President of Strategic Business Development and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Golden Pond Healthcare, Inc. From April 1999 until June 2006, Mr. Dahl served as the head of Global Healthcare for the Carlyle Group, a leading private equity firm, where he was responsible for the firm’s investments in the healthcare field. Prior to Carlyle, Mr. Dahl served as co-head of healthcare investment banking in North America at Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Dahl is a director of several private companies. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Cancer Research Institute.
Mr. Dahl received a BA from Middlebury College and an MBA with high distinction from the Harvard Business School.
Board Director, RJ Health Systems
Kelly DeKeyser joined RJ Health Systems as CEO in June of 2014, he retired as CEO in November 2015 and remains on the Board of Directors. Kelly is a 30 year healthcare industry veteran boasting extensive experience with payer, provider and fast growth company environments. He has held executive positions at national health plans such as UnitedHealth Group, CIGNA of California, and FHP. He has held CEO and senior executive positions at multiple private equity and venture capital backed firms with a focus on healthcare technology and population risk management. Kelly is currently a board member for the Boston based health plan, Minuteman Health, as well as for the Connecticut based ACO, ProHealth Physicians.
Kelly earned his Bachelor of Science in Business and his MBA from Arizona State University.
Managing Director, Fitzroy Health, LLC
James is a healthcare executive and entrepreneur with advisory and operating experience in numerous international markets. Having served in increasingly senior roles in the healthcare practices of KPMG, The Advisory Board Company and Standard & Poor’s, Mr. Nicholls founded Fitzroy Health, an advisory and investment firm that supports high growth healthcare companies in executing and financing their expansion.
Mr. Nicholls is a co-founder of Oncowell and sits on the Board of RJ Health Systems and on the Advisory Board of Compliance Meds Technologies. He has also served as a Healthcare Advisor to The Asia Society.
Mr. Nicholls was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year at The Wharton School 2009 WEC Expo and has been profiled by the Financial Times. He holds a B.A. from The University of Melbourne and MBAs from The London Business School and Columbia Business School.
Managing Director, Beverly Capital
Joseph is the founder and Managing Director of Beverly Capital. Prior to founding Beverly, Mr. Nolan enjoyed a 20-year career as a Senior Principal and Senior Advisor with GTCR, a Chicago-based private equity firm. After joining GTCR in 1994, Mr. Nolan became a Senior Principal of the firm in 1996, a co-founder of GTCR Golder Rauner LLC in 1998, and led or co-led GTCR’s healthcare investing efforts for much of his career, before becoming a Senior Advisor to the firm in 2012. Mr. Nolan has served as an investor and director of over 20 public and private companies. Mr. Nolan is the Chairman of the Board of Regents of Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, a Trustee for the North Shore Country Day School and a Trustee of the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he is Vice-Chairman of the Clinical Business Planning Committee.
Mr. Nolan received a B.S. in Accounting with High Honors from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Leeor Farhadian oversees investments for The Straus Group. Mr. Farhadian was previously the Senior Managing Director of Fund of Funds Research at EnTrust Capital (now EnTrust Permal), with assets under management of over $8bn. In that capacity, Mr. Farhadian invested in a wide range of alternative strategies and co-investments. Previously, Mr. Farhadian practice structured finance law at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
Mr. Farhadian holds a B.A., Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Rutgers College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
Partner, Talisman Capital Partners
Blane is a Partner at Talisman Capital Partners. Mr. Walter was the founder of inChord Communications, Inc., which he built into the largest independently-owned, healthcare communications company in the world. In 2005, inChord was acquired by Ventiv Health, the largest provider of outsourced sales and clinical services serving the pharmaceutical industry to create inVentiv Health. In 2008, Blane became CEO of the combined public company. Through organic growth and more than 20 acquisitions, inVentiv Health became the leading provider of outsourced product development and commercialization services to the global pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. inVentiv’s client roster consists of more than 350 leading pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences and healthcare payer companies. In 2010, Mr. Walter led the successful $1.2 billion buyout of inVentiv Health by Thomas H. Lee Partners. Mr. Walter presently serves as Vice Chairman of inVentiv Health and also serves as Chairman of the Governor of Ohio’s Executive Workforce Board.
Prior to joining inChord, Mr. Walter worked as a Financial Analyst in New York City for Smith Barney in mergers and acquisitions specialty group.
CEO, RIK Enterprises
Mitch is the CEO of RIK Enterprises, a family-office investment firm located in Cleveland, Ohio founded by Robert Klein, the Founder and Chairman of Safeguard Properties. Prior to joining RIK, Mr. Wolf worked at Visium Asset Management, an investment management firm located in New York. Prior to joining Visium, Mr. Wolf worked at York Capital Management and at Oaktree Capital Management. Mr. Wolf began his post-graduate career at J.P. Morgan in 1998, working in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Placement Groups.
Mr. Wolf is a Trustee and Treasurer of the Fuchs Mizrachi School, a Modern Orthodox Jewish day school. Mr. Wolf received a BS in finance with honors from Yeshiva University.
