Kelly DeKeyser joined RJ Health Systems as CEO in June of 2014. Kelly is a 30 year healthcare industry veteran boasting extensive experience with payer, provider and fast growth company environments. He has held executive positions at national health plans such as UnitedHealth Group, CIGNA of California, and FHP. He has held CEO and senior executive positions at multiple private equity and venture capital backed firms with a focus on healthcare technology and population risk management. Kelly is currently a board member for the Boston based health plan, Minuteman Health, as well as for the Connecticut based ACO, ProHealth Physicians.
Kelly earned his Bachelor of Science in Business and his MBA from Arizona State University.
Tom Comcowich joined RJ Health Systems in October 2001 as Vice President, Drug Information Services. As Vice President, Tom has extensive involvement in the development and maintenance of the various Drug Informational Databases developed by RJ Health Systems. Additionally, he has a major role in all consulting activity of the company.
Prior to joining RJ Health Systems, Tom was Director of Pharmacy for Health Net of the Northeast, a 1.1 million member Managed Care Organization serving the states of Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania for a period of 12 years. Prior to his tenure at Health Net of the Northeast, Tom was a member of the Pharmacy team at Community Health Care Plan, a staff model HMO serving the greater New Haven County in Connecticut.
His extensive background in all aspects of Managed Care Pharmacy, including utilization review, formulary management, network management, business operations, and benefit design, enable Tom to oversee the Consulting Services, Drug Informational Databases and Patient Education divisions of RJ Health Systems.
Tom earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Northeastern University and a Masters of Business Administration - Healthcare Management from the University of New Haven. He is a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Connecticut and is a member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy.
Michael Giusani is the Vice President of Clinical Pharmacy Services, Workers’ Compensation Division for RJ Health Systems. He is responsible for developing and maintaining Workers’ Compensation Pharmacy Management Programs, which include but are not limited to Drug Utilization Review, Formulary Management, Benefit Design and Policy & Procedure Development.
Michael has worked with the pharmaceutical industry to provide assistance in their knowledge of Drug Adherence and Medicare/Medicaid issues. He also is an active participant in various domestic symposia regarding issues in Workers’ Compensation and prescription drug coverage.
Prior to joining RJ Health Systems, Michael was a member of the pharmacy team at CVS/Pharmacy. During his tenure at CVS/Pharmacy he gained extensive experience in Patient Compliance Initiatives, Patient Counseling and Drug Utilization Review.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy. He is a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Connecticut and is a member in good standing of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists.
Tom Mancini joined RJ Health Systems in June 2000 as Vice President, Information Services. Tom’s primary responsibilities encompass the planning, design and implementation of the software systems that deliver the products marketed and sold by RJ Health Systems.
He has more than 20 years of technology experience in addition to a comprehensive knowledge base in insurance, pharmaceutical, medical and government programs. Prior to joining RJ Health Systems, he was an Independent Contractor, a Project Manager for Hartford Insurance Group, an Information Technology Manager for Travelers’ Insurance, and a Computer Programmer for the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation. He has extensive experience in Workers’ Compensation, Managed Health Care, and Property Casualty Insurance with exposure to all facets of the healthcare and insurance industries.
Tom earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Connecticut. He also has several certifications including Project Management Certification from The Boston University Center for Management Development, Sun Certified Programmer, IBM Certified Solution Developer, and Oracle Certified Professional Enterprise Developer.
Paul joined RJ Health Systems in February 2015 as Executive Vice President, Business Development. As Executive Vice President, Paul is responsible for managing all aspects of sales and customer service. Prior to joining RJ Health Systems, Mr. Rector served as Chief Revenue Officer, for Engage121, where he specialized in organizational development, and market positioning & responsive packaging - all in pursuit of sustainable revenue growth. Before that, he was the Chief Revenue Officer at Heartland Publications and was a mentor at the Connecticut Innovations — TechStart incubator.
Mr. Rector has developed a winning SaaS/Recurring Revenue sales strategy that balances sales & support resources to develop happy, loyal customers, ensuring retention and maximizing up sell capacity. Mr. Rector has extensive experience as an executive leader in new ventures with both corporate spin-outs and early stage companies. As a data-driven, top-line manager, Mr. Rector has achieved double and triple digit growth plans that have led to strategic investment, shareholder double-downs, and game-changing partnerships.
Mr. Rector received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Philosophy from Trinity College in 1995.
Kim Devaney joined RJ Health Systems in January 2012 as a consultant, and in 2013 became Director, Research & Development. He now serves as Vice President of Clinical Program Development. In this role he oversees improvement and integration of our clinical programs. He also has responsibility for consulting activity with health plans in support of clinical operations.
Prior to joining RJ Health Systems, Kim practiced as a Clinical Pharmacist at ConnectiCare, ranked as one of the top health plans in America. Previously, he served as Director of Pharmacy for Health Net of the Northeast for 12 years. Here his focus was on operational oversight of the Commercial, and Medicare Part D lines of business. Kim also oversaw pharmacy operations at HMO staff model pharmacies as Pharmacy Supervisor at Community Health Care Plan. In addition, Kim has also enjoyed over 20 years’ experience in the Community, and Long Term Care pharmacy settings.
Kim has extensive background in all aspects of Managed Care Pharmacy, including, formulary management, prior authorization, utilization review, benefit design, and compliance programs.
Kim earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island. He is a Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Connecticut and is a member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy.
